These are a few logo designs I have created for Yumi. El and I have decided to scratch the name GrubHub now and change it to Yumi as this seems more appealing to our demographic that we’re targeting which are 21 – 45 year old males and females. The word “Grub” comes across too masculine and macho, but Yumi doesn’t. It sounds much more delicious and tasty as opposed to grub that sounds greasy and yuck! We’ve made the right choice here we can proudly say.
These logos I have designed in illustrator and have took into account the research I undertook into the psychology of colour as well as thinking about the concept of a hub community. Elliot has come up with some other designs also, which you will be able to find here.
